Spending my childhood between Miami, Florida and Paris, France, I have always been interested in how our environments influence us, in observing art, design, behavioral, and cultural idiosyncrasies across identities. My Cuban, French, and American identities can often be at odds, but it's when they dialogue in unique ways that magic happens. These observations continued when I worked as a designer onboard a ship for two years, traveling year-round with crew that came from around the world. Adjusting to life below deck, interacting with crew on a daily basis, exploring over 50 countries—it’s helped me develop a deeper sense of understanding, empathy, and sense of wonderment. Layered storytelling is at the core of how I approach any brand moment or experience.
